Southampton, PA — AdvantaPure announces the availability of new APSM 4-Ply, Mandrel-Wrapped Silicone Hose for pharmaceutical, biomedical, food, cosmetic, and clean applications. APSM has undergone extensive physical, chemical, and biological testing and meets USP Class VI, FDA CFR 177.2600, ISO 10993, and 3A standards.

The core of APSM is extruded from low-volatile grade silicone in our certified Class 1,000 clean room, then platinum cured for purity. Wrapped with either polyester or Nomex® fabric and covered with additional silicone, APSM is durable and retains flexibility. It resists chemical attack, ozone, radiation, moisture, and environmental exposure and imparts no taste or odor to critical streams. The product’s general temperature use ranges from -100°F to 400°F; the Nomex variation will handle 450°F continuously and 500°F intermittently.

Great care is taken during the production of APSM to ensure its purity and integrity. The hose is manufactured using strict Good Manufacturing Procedures in a tightly-controlled environment and is wrapped in clear polyethylene film upon completion for cleanliness. Finished product is stored in a segregated, white-room area and offers documented lot traceability and quality control. Provided in 12-foot straight lengths, APSM is available with either polyester or Nomex® mesh fabric in nine sizes from 1/2” through 4” I.D. Special sizes, lengths, cleaning, and packaging are available on a custom basis.
