Southampton, PA — AdvantaPure™ announces the immediate availability of new Double-Braided Silicone Hose for processing applications in the pharmaceutical, biomedical, food and beverage, chemical, cosmetic, and other high purity industries. Double-Braided Silicone Hose is an excellent alternative to costlier wrapped hose.

Double-Braided Silicone Hose offers several advantages over wrapped silicone hose. It offers greater flexibility than the fabric layers of wrapped hose will allow, and it’s available in continuous lengths up to 50 feet—a length simply not available with wrapped hose. Double-Braided Silicone Hose offers comparable pressure ratings, and because it is an extruded product, its production costs are less than mandrel-built wrapped hose.

Double-Braided Silicone Hose is an all-Class VI product manufactured to the highest possible standards in AdvantaPure’s class 1000 clean room. Double-Braided Silicone Hose consists of an inner core of pure, smooth, platinum-cured silicone rubber followed by a layer of strong, durable polyester braid material. These layers are repeated, and an outer covering of white-colored silicone completes the hose.

Stocked sizes of Double-Braided Silicone Hose are offered in 1/2”, 3/4”, and 1” I.D. in lengths of 25 or 50 feet. All individual lengths of hose are bagged and white-room stored for cleanliness. AdvantaPure™ also stocks many styles and sizes of sanitary fittings and hose collars, so ready-to-install hose assemblies are only days away from the customer.
