AdvantaPure® Increases its Number of Hose Identification Methods
Expanded Offerings Quickly & Clearly Identify Hoses & Assemblies
 Southampton, PA — Now available from AdvantaPure are seven solutions for hose identification – nearly double the number previously available. Imprinted, laser-etched, electronically tagged, and color-coded products create traceability, allow for instant recognition, identify capabilities or limitations, improve safety, and help achieve regulatory compliance. These features are beneficial in many industries, especially those that involve high purity applications such as pharmaceutical, biomedical and medical, food and beverage, chemical, cosmetics and fragrances, and others.
AdvantaPure’s hose identification methods are designed for tubing and hose manufactured of silicone and for rubber-covered or overbraided hoses of various materials. The solutions may be used separately or in combination with each other when complex applications call for multi-level identification.
The selection of hose identification solutions already available includes:
- AdvantaLabel® – Identification labels and color stripes permanently vulcanized directly to the O.D. of silicone tubing and hose
- Color-Striped Silicone Tubing – Stripes co-extruded with tubing that will not rub off or separate
- Laser-Etched Hose Collars – Permanent identification that’s sharper and more legible than acid-etched parts or handwritten labels
- Hose Track™ – A unique hose assembly tracking system employing RFID tags to minimize the risk of contamination, hose failure, and costs associated with batch waste and production stoppages.
The expanded options consist of:
- Color Tracer Braid – Braid material available in several colors for use along an entire length of reinforced silicone hose
- Color Silicone Tubing – Solid color tubing for quick and clear identification
- Laser-Etched Tags – An easy-to-apply method of identification; more permanent than paper tags; use to identify contents, departments, product capabilities, and more.
